Simpsons Chateaubriand Fillet of Beef is sourced from grass fed heritage breed Lincoln Red cattle, slowly grown in Lincolnshire pastures. The beef Chateaubriand cut is a classic cut that is considered one of the most prestigious cuts of beef that comes from the tenderloin, a muscle that runs along the spine and is not heavily used by the animal. As a result the meat is extremely tender and flavoursome. It is a versatile cut that can be cooked in different ways, it can be grilled, pan-seared, oven-roasted, or even poached. It’s a perfect cut for a special occasion or a romantic dinner.
